The City of Vincent operates under a Mayor-Council form of government. Council meetings are held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday's of every month 6:00pm at City Hall.
Gary Anacker has been a resident of Vincent since 2004 and of Alabama since 1990. Gary and his wife Judy, originally from Wisconsin have 3 adult children and 10 grandchildren ages 2 to 10. Gary and Judy are members of Vincent Revival Center and are active small group leaders (except during Covid).
Gary retired in January 2020 as an accountant and businessman. Judy retired in 2018 after 25 years as a pre-school teacher.
This is Gary's first time to be elected and serve on the Vincent City Council. He brings 42 years of business and entrepreneurial experience to the council.
Darryl and his wife Marcie moved to Vincent in 2008 to serve as pastor of First Baptist Church Vincent. When he retired from the church, Darryl chose to remain in Vincent because it is a great place to call home. He continues to serve churches as a minister. Darryl appreciates the citizens of District 3 for their confidence in electing him to represent them on the City Council.
